Bywater is a haven for wildlife and is set on the edge of the small village of Newport at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds. Comprising of a luxury log cabin, overlooking a mature three acre lake set within nine acres of landscaped gardens, woodland and meadowland.

 

As the occupier of the cabin you will have exclusive use of this beautiful lake, making Bywater perfect for a tranquil getaway or a fisherman's heaven. As well as an array of wildlife around the lake, there is an excellent stock of mirror carp, common carp, bream tench, rudd, roach, perch, eels pike and ghost carp.

     
   
 

Take a lovely canal side walk or bicycle ride to the small friendly village of Newport with 3 pubs, 2 shops, 1 restaurant and 3 takeaways.

There are many other attractions nearby such as The Wetlands Nature Reserve, the historic town of Howden and Beverley, Goole Waterways Museum, the Deep Aquarium, the east coast and the historic City of York with attractions such as York Dungeons, Jorvik Viking Centre, Castle Museum, National Railway Museum, York Minster and plenty more.
